Change is no longer a case-by-case and punctual phenomenon but a structural issue: a context of systematic transformation.
New generations are more used to adopting new habits, used to adjust more quickly to new conditions partly because technology and innovation have entered their life and education more regularly and sharply, at a faster pace.
This can also be the cause for greater superficiality in approaching subjects or tasks. But in reality, the phenomenon tends to result in greater capacity and faster acceptance of new habits, more spontaneously and naturally.
For those who feel the need to adjust, managing their adaptation to change is just a matter of practice and training. Both require resilience and a lot of persistence.
Getting used to habit change is not easy because the body and mind tend to resist. But it can be fun and easy to practice.
Learn something new
Learning something new that you would love but that you always thought you couldn't do or lack the necessary skills for is a great challenge to unlock your true brain potential. This is the first habit to adopt: to counter our subconscious resistances. But don't forget that you have to produce satisfaction, you have to feel compensated.
Transform your vulnerabilities into strengths
Lord Tyrion once said "Never forget what you are, the rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor and it can never be used to hurt you." You might not be a GOT fan, but you get the point. Vulnerabilities are not weaknesses. Not unless you make them. This applies to habit change as well. For instance, do you take a long time to get in the right mood in the morning? Ok. Wake up half an hour early and enjoy walking with music that reminds you of great moments or feelings.
Find Hobbies
Hobbies are an excellent way to train new habits. Do some research, find what interests you, and go for it. However, do not neglect the importance of finding the right balance between your hobbies and other habits. From now and then, mix it up! Try new hobbies, embrace new challenges.
Manage your time
Time management is a habit you must adopt above all others. Make sure you have time to plan and train your habit change. Find what methods work for your lifestyle.
Apply what you have learned by following these steps
List a set of habits you would like to change.
Detail alternatives that have higher compensation.
List the habits from easier to harder to change- a quick win helps you get off to a good start.
Plan and put into practice.
Last but not least remember one of the critical factors for success that we, at mylle, uphold dearly: in order to be open to change you must embrace a mindset transformation, which means always looking forward to better habits.
